MEP Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Eemshaven, Netherland
€95,000 - €100,000 + 20% bonus + €1,000 Net Allowance + Accommodation + Travel + Rotation  

We are seeking an experienced MEP Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading contractor on a major data centre project based in Eemshaven, Netherlands.

As the MEP Senior QS, you will take full commercial responsibility for the project, working closely with the Contracts Manager, Project Manager, and construction team to ensure successful delivery. You will play a key role in maximising commercial returns, managing risk, and building strong client relationships while overseeing the full financial and contractual lifecycle of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all commercial and cost management activities for MEP packages from inception to completion.
• Develop, implement, and adapt the commercial strategy as the project progresses.
• Manage procurement processes, including tenders, subcontractor selection, and contract finalisation.
• Oversee subcontractor valuations, invoices, variations, and final accounts.
• Produce accurate financial forecasts, cost reports, and CVR reconciliations.
• Ensure variations are properly documented, agreed, and reported.
• Regularly update and finalise project accounts in line with company processes.
• Support value engineering and design development to optimise project delivery.
• Maintain robust site records, document control, and compliance with insurance and warranties.
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks while capitalising on opportunities.
• Provide timely commercial reporting to senior management and stakeholders

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a strong MEP or building services background.
• Previous experience working on data centre or other large-scale, complex construction projects preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of construction contracts such as JCT or NEC.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure project environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and reporting capabilities.
